The Role Description Report can be used to view details about a report. Reports
cover a wide range of useful information, required for better management and understanding
of your organisation. The Role Description Report can be printed out from the Role
Manager as well as the Report Manager.

Select a Role from the Role Manager. This will open the Role in the editable form.
Click on View Desc on the menu from the list of items in the menu bar. This will
open the Role Description Report for the selected role.

The report can be printed, exported into a word, PDF document or saved.

The above shows the tools that can be used to work on reports on HRmonise. Pointing
to individual tools will pop up a tooltip providing information on what that tool
is used for. Role Description Reports can also be generated from the Report Manager.

In the Report Manager, the user can make select different filters to generate the
Role Description Reports according to their preferences
Role Description Report filters:
• Generate all reports - This will generate the Role Description Report for all
the roles in the organisation.
• Restrict report items by department, role title, employee, location – these allow
the user to print the report by selecting any one of the filters. Select the specific
information you require form the pull down menu.
• Optional inclusions
i. Information about the current incumbent – on selecting this option, the Role
Description Report will contain information about the person(s) currently holding
that position.

ii. Performance Measures – this gives the users options to print out details
about the Performance Measures for the selected role. Reports can be generated with
Performance Qualifiers, Performance Measures Weightings and Numerical Performance
Targets.
• Performance Measures of the last possible period or the first upcoming possible
period can be printed.
Note: By default HRmonise shows the Performance Measures of the current period.
iii. Section to certify the Role Description – this will print out a section for
the department manager to certify the Role Description.
Note: A user will only be able to generate the Role Description for a Role, if they
have access to that Role. Also to generate Role Descriptions with Performance Measures,
users need to have access permissions to view Performance Measures. For users who
do not have access to these, HRmonise disables the features to lock users out.
