Qualifications are those formal qualifications awarded by recognized educational
institutions such as certificates, diplomas, degrees etc. They can be either preferred
for or desirable to the role. Preferred is used to indicate that the qualification
is ideal for the role. Desired qualifications are worth having and an individual
possessing these will add additional value to the organization.
Requirements cover membership of professional associations, compliance and language
requirements. |

Select a Role from the Role Manager. This will open the Role in the editable form.
Click on Edit Qualification on the menu from the list of items
in the menu bar
This will open the Edit Qualification page for the Role.

1. Formal qualifications are added into the “Qualifications” section.
i. To enter the formal Qualifications
a. click in the Qualifications text
box

b. select the appropriate qualification from the qualifications tree (preferred
or desirable)
c. enter the qualification description e.g. Science, Business Management and IT
d. click on Add to save the qualification
ii. To enter the Requirements
Note: The Requirements cover three categories: Professional Associations,
Regulatory Compliance Requirements and Language proficiency.
a. Review the requirements list.
b. Select the check box beside each requirement to include it in the role.
c. Click the Save Changes button.
d. The Requirements selected for the specific Role will display beside the Role
requirements tree

iii. If necessary Add a New Requirement to the list in the Add
a New Requirement window:
i. Click on the new tab and select Add Requirement
ii. Select the appropriate Requirement Type from the drop down list: Regulatory
Compliance Requirements, Professional Associations or Language Proficiency
iii. Enter the Requirement Name
iv. Click on Add to add the entered details to the existing requirement tree
Note: The HRmonise Administrator can add, edit and remove qualifications
from the Educational qualification list; and can edit and remove Requirements from
the requirements list. The qualifications and requirements can only be removed if
they do not have any dependencies, meaning if they are not attached to any roles.
